Unfortunately, all the chemotherapy had left Benjamin too sick
to undergo a bone marrow transplant. In spite of all the efforts,

Year’s Eve, 1998. Nothing more
could be done for Ben.
Today the prognosis hasn’t changed greatly, but some progress
has been
made - in part because of research funded by The Leukemia
& Lymphoma Society. With your help, the Society will continue
